RBC Knowledge Group LLC is a one-person technical writing practice based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This page explains in plain terms what this website collects and what happens to it. It describes what actually happens here, rather than restating a generic template.
Who to contact
Ben Crawford, RBC Knowledge Group LLC — ben@rbcknowledge.com or 501-235-0696. Any question about your data comes to me and is answered by me.
What the contact form collects
If you fill in the contact form, it collects the name, email address, phone number, subject and message you enter. That is emailed to me and also stored in this site’s database, so an enquiry cannot be lost in a spam folder.
I use it to reply to you, and if we end up working together, to keep a record of how we started. I do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list — there is no mailing list.
Enquiries are kept while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to it. Ask me to delete yours and I will.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies and records the pages you view, an approximate location, and which browser and device you used. Google uses your IP address to estimate that location and then discards it; Analytics does not make IP addresses available to me. What I see are aggregate numbers, not identifiable individuals.
Advertising
I run Google Ads. When someone arrives from an ad, Google attaches a click identifier to the address, and this site reports back to Google whether that visit ended in a contact-form submission. That tells me which ads are worth paying for. It does not tell me who you are. Personalised advertising is switched on for that Google Ads account, which means Google may use this site’s audience data when showing ads elsewhere.
Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. You can turn off personalised advertising at myadcenter.google.com.
Booking a call
The “Schedule a Call” button goes to Calendly, a separate service. Anything you enter there is handled by Calendly under their privacy policy, not this one.
Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted by DreamHost. Like any web server, it keeps access logs that include IP addresses and the pages requested. Those are used for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies
The cookies set on this site are Google’s, for the analytics and advertising described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work normally.
Your choices
Email ben@rbcknowledge.com to ask what I hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. There is no process to navigate — it is just me, and I will do it.
One note on this page
This is a plain-English description of how a small business website actually operates. It is not legal advice. If your procurement process needs specific contractual data-protection language, ask me and I will provide it.
